WATCH D.O.G.S. ^® (‘Dads’ of Great Students) is an innovative program being used by schools across America which helps them to be positively impacted by the committed involvement of fathers and father-figures in their student’s life. Our goal is to have you spend at least one day this year at the school to be a positive male role model and to provide an extra set of eyes and ears.

Dads, granddads, uncles, step-dads and adult brothers . . . you can all join in and make a difference with students!

In order to participate, you need to do two things:

1. Make sure you are an LWSD approved volunteer. Apply online.
2. Follow this link to enter our scheduling system and choose your volunteer date.

Company Matching:

Many local companies offer volunteer matching, for example: Microsoft and Amazon! Make sure to check with your company to see if they offer any matching for volunteering your time as a Blackwell Watch D.O.G. This is a great way to boost funds donated directly back to our school to be used toward academic resources and materials. To take advantage of this great perk, please contact your company volunteer coordinator directly.
